I thought I’d start out with some of the more easy top acoustic guitar songs. I’ll give you the title and artists and leave the lyrics to you.

  • “Time Of Your Life” by Greenday is a simple four chord song that includes G, C9, Dsus4 and Em on the third and fourth lines of the verse as well as the chorus.
  • “Free Fallin” by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers is a quite easy three chord progression that consists of D,G and A. Getting a feel for the strum is the toughest part.
  • “With Or Without You” by U2 is another very simple song with just a repetitive four chord progression which is D, A, Bm and G.
  • All Along The Watch Tower by Bob Dylan is an easy one to pick up the chord progression is Am,G,F,G  which repeats itself throughout the song.
  • “Patience” by Guns And Roses has a few more chords but being a ballad the changes aren’t too quick. The main chord progressions are C,G,A, D and C,G,C,Em and C,G,D,D.
  • “After Midnight” by Eric Clpaton  is a little more up tempo but the chord changes are repeated during the song and they are C, D#,F, and C.
